As the Florida pipe band competition season wraps up with the Dunedin Highland Games, the band readies itself for competition outside the state.
The Florida competition circuit was a successful season as the City of Sarasota Pipe Band finished with three 1st place, one second place and one third place finishes. It certainly has been a successful and satisfying run.
The remaining competitions will be in Greenville, South Carolina and Stone Mountain , Georgia. We then turn our attention to fund raising efforts for our travels to Glasgow, Scotland to compete in the 2011 World Pipe Band Championships!
